Forecasting Ad Spend - using scheduled campaigns in forecast

One of our struggles is creating forecasts for ad spend when the spend changes by day.
As an example, during November we have a set budget. Black Friday weekend is at the end of the month and we had campaigns set up to run just that weekend. Having a forecasting tool that can take into account scheduled campaigns and their budgets would be beneficial from a planning perspective.
Most budgeting tools just take the monthly budget and divide it equally amongst the days in the month so it is a linear forecast. This doesn't work in many situations, including the one above.
I would also think the ability to take into account scheduled campaigns can also help forecasts in other metrics like sessions and revenue.
