We did our regular checks on the api and the MailChimp /lists endpoint still returns one all-time number per audience list:
- Average Subscribe Rate
- Average Unsubscribe Rate
- Campaigns
- Click Rate
- Open Rate
- Rating
- Subscribers (Total Number of)
- Unsubscribes
There is no date range parameter and no day-by-day breakdown. Passing date filters to this endpoint is silently ignored. This means date-range filtering and compare-to are not possible for List widgets, the data simply doesn't exist at that level of detail. MailChimp only exposes lifetime totals for these metrics. We will keep close eyes if anything changes.

Looking to have MailChimp widgets show the comparative percentage selected under Date Range similar to other Data Source's widgets.

Without Mailchimp filtering by date, this integration is not helpful. It forces us out of the Analytics platform and back to the very thing we are trying to get away from...too many sources.
